Overall: 4.5/5 Food: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Customer Service: 3.5 Came here randomly. Just saw the sign and said WTH, lets see what they about. Got the "Angry Mac" and that thang goes CRAZY!! Lol, was not expecting it to be so good. But do not try and eat this alone, definitely something you can share with someone else... unless you want to gain 5lbs lol. Cust service was average at best. They weren't rude but also aren't the most pleasant customer service reps you'll come across. But, the food is so good, I'll still be back! Lol!

Went here with my wife last night and received excellent service. I usually go to other hot chicken places, but this place was way better. I really appreciate how friendly & accommodating their staff was. This place is very close to our home in east Sac so this was a plus. We both had the #1 combo and laughed together as we reflected back on the last 6 months of our life. Everything you see or I see is based on our perspective, not reality. Always remember that kindness and acceptance always prevails over sins like vengeance and cruelty. Anywhere is a good place to meditate on these Nobel truths. Even a Nashville hot chicken restaurant....

I ordered the combo #3 which comes with 1 slider and 1 tender and fries. You get a good amount of food for $15. First off, the fries are crispy and seasoned and you get a decent amount. Sometimes fries are an afterthought but not here, these were definitely a delicious side. As for the slider, I was expecting a tiny slider but this one is almost like a full sized bun with a tender, pickles, and coleslaw. Then the 1 tender came on a piece of white bread with pickles laid on top. I got them medium spice and it was very tasty! The burn definitely builds with every bite so go mild if you don't like spicy. There's also indoor and outdoor seating options which is nice and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Hands down one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches around!!! I've been going here for a while now. The value of 2 sliders and friends for $15 is great! The buns and the chicken breast are so perfect together. Staff is super nice and always helpful. Resturant itself is clean and love the kings vibe in there.

After curiously walking by Angry Chickz hundreds of times, I finally got to try it this weekend. I was very excited to see how it compared to my favorite hot chicken place. I ordered the Angry Mac: "Two chopped tenders over fries with mac & cheese and secret sauce." Customer service was good. The cashier answered my (many) questions without getting annoyed, and it didn't take very long to receive my food. When I received my order, I couldn't believe how packed the bowl was. Given the size of the to-go container, my bowl was as packed as it could possibly be. The portion size was very generous. It took me all day to finish eating this, plus I was still too full to eat any breakfast the next day. The seasoned fries were bomb. Very salty, but some of the best I've had. Even though they were on the bottom, I tried to mostly eat them first (since fries don't last as long or reheat as well as the other ingredients). The mac and cheese was very good. Very cheesy. It went well with all of the other ingredients. The chicken was incredibly spicy-- even spicier than my favorite hot chicken place. I had asked for the "hot" level of spiciness, and could barely handle it. Unlike the competition, the flavor wasn't sunk into every molecule of chicken flesh. It was mostly added to the outside. The inside of the chicken was still great, but just not as impressive as my favorite place. I really enjoyed my food, but would agree with some of the other reviewers who said that the heat mostly comes from an excess of seasoning. Overall, even though I didn't like it as much as my favorite hot chicken place, I still really liked my food, and would like to come back again to try some of their other bowls.

Once again my family and I were on the hunt for some good chicken. My brother frequently gets his food from here so I figured we'd give it a shot. Their menu isn't very expansive so deciding what we should get wasn't too difficult. We ordered the Mild Angry Mac, Medium, and Hot #2 Combo. Mild had just a touch of heat and was very manageable to eat. Mac was cheesy and creamy, chicken tender and juicy, and fries were able to hold their crisp and structure underneath all that delicious Mac & chicken. Very filling! My son said the medium heat was a good heat where he could still enjoy his chicken without having to pant or sweat, lol. My daughter who can tolerate quite a beat of heat said the hot level was extremely spicy! For comparison, she puts the whole spicy packet of the pink Buldak into her bowl and she said the hot level at Angry Chicks was more than that! Both kids seemed to find the #2 Combo a bit underwhelming. We're hoping the next time we visit that the kids will enjoy their next meal a lot more.

Thank you Angry Chickz for always giving me a good meal! It's the best place for when you're craving spicy chicken. This place is super popular, especially at night so it took a while to order after I got off work. But the wait is so worth it. I got the angry Mac, which was their standard Mac and cheese with spicy chicken in it. Once you give it a good mix so everything is evenly distributed, you'd get a good flavor in every spoon. For the price, they give you a generous portion, which ended up being dinner and tomorrow's lunch for me. It's super cheesy and savory, then adding the spicy chicken in, any cravings would be satisfied.
